Jang Sang-yook Chief Operating Officer

With the belief that “it’s better to be a lasting pine tree than a fleeting flower,” Jang Sang-yook has consistently dedicated himself to building warm, trustworthy relationships and connecting people through culture. A taekwondo instructor with a background in visual design, he combines artistic sensitivity with a deep commitment to community. As Secretary-General of IP-WIN 2025, he currently oversees all operations of the World Intangible Heritage Network Festival.Mr. Jang is also the CEO of The New Company,Jinpyeong and Cheongin, and several event and party room ventures, where he has led cultural industries and small business networking initiatives rooted in the local community. He serves as Secretary-General of the Siheung Senior Model Association and holds leadership roles in the Disabled Bowling Association, local vision initiatives, and numerous civic organizations including Carnegie and KoreaTech Lifelong Education Centers, Rotary, Lions Clubs, festival committees, and future strategy forums.Highly regarded as a communicator who blends practical knowledge with heartfelt delivery, he has been instrumental in developing education, lectures, and networking opportunities for small business owners and entrepreneurs. At IP-WIN 2025, he plays a key managerial role in connecting international cultural exchange with local heritage, working to realize Culture Masters’ vision of transforming Siheung’s Turtle Island into a global hub for intangible cultural heritage.
