Eivind Falk is the director of the Norwegian Crafts Institute, Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage, in Norway (https://eng.handverksinstituttet.no/). He has been the Editor-In-Chief for a UNESCO-accredited NGO's Journal #HeritageAlive since the beginning in 2012. Eivind Falk was a member of the UNESCO Evaluation Body from 2016 to 2019 where he evaluated more than two hundred international files for possible inscription. He is an active member and chair of several boards related to education and crafts. He has published, written, and edited several books and articles on traditional crafts and intangible cultural heritage. Eivind is also known for teaching traditional woodwork himself and has held classes and workshops all over Norway, the US, and India for both children and adults.
